VISION, MEET CONNECTION

Progressive lenses
with connected audio.

Progressive smart glasses combine multifocal prescription lenses with phone-connected audio. The lenses provide distance, intermediate and near viewing areas; the frame’s speakers and microphones handle music and calls. Your prescription works independently of the battery.

Consider this option if your eye care professional has prescribed progressives for near and distance tasks. The lens power varies across the lens rather than adjusting electronically.

The Reebok Optical models featured here are camera-free audio glasses. There is no screen in the lens, and the progressive zones do not display messages or project information into your view.

What does freeform mean?

Freeform uses computer-controlled surfacing to shape the progressive lens. Our Advanced option combines freeform design with dual digital surfacing. Accurate prescription details and fitting measurements are required for either design.

Which option fits your day?

Both designs can be paired with the clear, photochromic or sun finishes available in the lens selector. Select the design, then choose the material and finish for your frame.

FIT COMES FIRST

Measurements for progressive lenses

A frame can look right in a photo and still sit too high, too low or too loosely on your face. With progressives, where your pupils sit in the frame helps determine where the viewing zones need to be placed. Compare bridge, lens and temple measurements with a comfortable pair you already own, then review the full frame dimensions.

Pupillary distance and fitting height describe different things. PD positions the lenses horizontally; fitting height helps locate the progressive design vertically in the frame as worn. Lens height on a product specification sheet is not your personal fitting height. Do not copy a measurement from an old frame or estimate it from the model photo.

If you are unsure how to supply the required measurements, contact SmartRx before placing your order. A narrower frame name such as “Slim” describes fit; it does not guarantee that a particular progressive design will suit your prescription.

YOUR FIT CHECK

What to have ready

  • Your current prescription, including the ADD value where prescribed.
  • PD and any frame-specific fitting measurements requested for the order.
  • The dimensions of a comfortable frame you already wear.
  • How often you switch between screens, reading and distance tasks.
  • Any experience you have had with progressive lenses before.

LIVING WITH PROGRESSIVES

Getting used to progressive lenses

A different way of looking

Progressive lenses use different areas for different distances. You may notice a change in clarity toward the sides and may need to move your head to bring a task into the useful viewing area. The experience varies with lens design and fit; a premium label is not a promise of perfectly sharp vision through every part of the lens.

Allow time to become familiar with the pair in ordinary settings. If vision feels persistently uncomfortable or you cannot find a useful viewing area, contact your optical professional or SmartRx for help checking the prescription and fit. There is no single adjustment timetable that applies to every wearer.

Audio that stays separate from your vision

Pair the frame with a compatible phone for music, podcasts and calls. Open-ear speakers leave your ear canals uncovered, but background noise, volume and your surroundings still affect listening. Audio can be heard by people nearby at higher levels; these are not private in-ear headphones.

For a sun configuration, explore the finish choices available with your progressive selection. A progressive design describes how the prescription changes across the lens. A tint or photochromic treatment describes how it handles light. Compatibility needs to be checked for the complete combination.

THE DETAILS

Frequently asked questions

Can smart glasses have progressive prescription lenses?

Yes, compatible smart frames can be fitted with progressives. The Reebok Optical family is designed to support progressive lenses. Your specific prescription, lens design and fitting measurements still need to work with the chosen frame.

Do the lenses change focus electronically?

No. These are conventional prescription progressive lenses in an audio-enabled frame. The prescription changes gradually across the lens; you look through different areas for different distances. Bluetooth and the battery do not control the lens power.

Are progressive lenses the same as reading glasses?

No. Reading glasses address a near task. Progressives combine distance, intermediate and near viewing areas according to your prescription. Choose the lens type your eye care professional has prescribed.

Can I use my old PD and fitting height?

PD and fitting height are different measurements, and the vertical fitting depends on the frame as worn. Supply the measurements requested for your new order and ask for guidance before reusing values from a previous pair.

Can I add photochromic or sun lenses to a progressive order?

Review the combinations offered in the lens selector for your chosen frame. Progressive design and light-management options are separate decisions, but not every material, finish and prescription combination is available.

Is the displayed frame price the total for progressives?

No. Product starting prices include the standard lenses listed for that frame. Custom progressive lenses and other selections add to the price. The selector shows an estimated subtotal for the configuration you build.

What if my prescription pair is not right for me?

SmartRx accepts returns within 30 days of receipt, including custom prescription lenses, under our return policy. Products also carry a one-year limited warranty for covered manufacturing defects. Contact us for help with your order.
